Martyr Chose God's Kingdom over Hitler's
Franz Jagerstatter will be beatified next month in Linz, Austria. Linz was the boyhood home of Adolf Hitler, who re-introduced conscription in Germany in 1935. It was the Catholic Center Party in Germany in 1933 that swung their votes in the Reichstag to the national socialists and the nationalists on the “Enabling Act” which gave Hitler his dictatorship.
